Hello dear art friends.

I would like to introduce myself briefly to you.

My name is Anette Tillmann-Loock and I was born on June 15th, 1970 in Göttingen. Göttingen is a university town, in the state of Lower Saxony, in Germany. My need to paint has always been as important as breathing and eating and providing the necessary fuel for the mind and soul. My passion for people has grown through years of working with people, and I use my unique style to capture the mood and feeling of emotions with a spatula and acrylic paints on a canvas.

For me, the process of painting in my works is at the center of my actions in order to remain open to creative expression, to unfold, to stir and to move.

My subjects include the environment, people and animals. I want to use my pictures to raise awareness that we are not separate from the environment, people and animals.

I have been working as an artist since 2010. So within a few years I developed my distinctive style, which is particularly striking due to its expressive color compositions. The obvious contrast between the representational subjects and the use of expressive colors challenges the viewer and, despite the strikingly staged protagonists, leaves space for the very individual access to my works.
